Our Approach

At The Anxiety Center, our approach to treating bipolar spectrum disorders is designed to effectively manage symptoms, reduce hospitalizations, and enhance quality of life through a holistic care model. We prioritize the most effective evidence-based treatments, including mood stabilizers such as lithium and anticonvulsants, as well as atypical antipsychotics for managing acute episodes. Alongside pharmacotherapy, we incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Interpersonal and Social Rhythm Therapy (IPSRT) to help patients stabilize their mood and establish regular routines. Our innovative approaches include personalized treatment plans based on genetic testing to determine the most effective medications, and cutting-edge technologies like Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine for treatment-refractory depressive episodes. Our Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) and Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP) provide comprehensive support and structured care, allowing for close monitoring and adjustment of treatments without hospitalization. We measure care through regular progress monitoring to ensure optimal outcomes. By integrating physical, emotional, and psychological care, our holistic model ensures tailored support to achieve stability and improve overall well-being, solving the most complex cases with innovative solutions and helping our patients lead fulfilling and productive lives.
