My passion

“My journey in this profession started with the pairing of my desire to help others and curiosity about the causes of emotional and behavioral dysfunction. This led me to working with neurodiverse children who have changed the way that I see the world, and secured a deep compassion for individuals and their families facing challenges associated with their disabilities and mental health. Like many people, my family has experienced loss and trauma resulting in periods of significant stress and anxiety. I know first hand the impact of mental health struggles on not only the individual experiencing it, but on the family system as well. Having two young children has further opened me to the innate joy and suffering of life, deepened my patience, and strengthened my empathy for others.

In my spare time you’ll find me with my husband and two children, Leo and Eva, out exploring the city and having adventures together, or at home cooking and spending time with friends and family.”
