Our Approach
At The Anxiety Center, our treatment process for personality disorders is comprehensive and evidence-based, designed to provide personalized care. It begins with a thorough assessment, including structured interviews, standardized assessment tools, and collaboration with other healthcare providers, to understand the patient's history, symptoms, and the disorder's impact on their daily life. Based on this evaluation, a formal diagnosis is made, followed by a tailored treatment plan. Core components include Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), proven to manage personality disorders by helping patients develop healthier thinking patterns, emotional regulation, and interpersonal skills. Medication management addresses co-occurring conditions like depression and anxiety, stabilizing mood symptoms. For treatment-resistant symptoms, we integrate interventional procedures such as Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) and Ketamine treatments, effective for managing comorbid conditions like severe depression and anxiety. Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP) provide more intensive support when needed. Our holistic approach ensures seamless transitions between different treatments, including psychotherapy, medication management, and interventional procedures. Regular monitoring and adjustments to the treatment plan ensure optimal outcomes, fostering resilience and long-term recovery, ultimately empowering our patients to lead healthier, more fulfilling lives.
